About Us

We are a football team founded during the 2020 pandemic for the children, the community and for those who live in and near to Camberwell in South-East London. We are a club that competes in local league football. The main aim was to create a not for profit football club, one that would last for the long term and this is how Braves Sporting Club CIC (Limited by Guarantee) was formed.    

A CIC (Community Interest Company) is a limited company but is created with the sole purpose of being able to conduct business for the good of the community and is not for profit. To read more about CIC's please see the regulators website. 

Every player should feel comfortable enough to be themselves. We respect individuals from all walks of life whether they are players or staff we are inclusive and diverse like the area of Camberwell, South East London. There is no reason why we can't all play football together. 

We all need to take responsibility for our actions and we should be able to communicate this without it coming across as negative. We believe strongly in Sportsmanship towards our opponent's and respect for officials. 

We are supportive of all members of the team from the coaching staff, players and parents.  

We are brave - We play football in a fun way and allow players to express themselves on the field and during training we expect all players to keep their heads up and to never give up and try their best whatever the result.
